Fractional Laser uses Erbium glass with 1540nm wavelength that splits the laser beam into 1000’s of micro beams to produce micro coagulation of tissue. This stimulates new collagen remodelling and elastin fibres without creating any injury to the surface of the skin. The laser targets only water, the majority of which is found in the lower layers of the skin, the basal layer and dermis. This treatment helps to turnover your skin cells quickly and corrects any flaws in the mutated or sun damaged skin cells.
Is it painful?
The fractional laser has an integrated skin cooler for easy and painless treatments.
What happens to the skin after each treatment?
For the first 24-48 hours after the treatment, the skin may show a slight flush, similar to that of sunburn.
Jane Iredale make up can be used straight after the treatment it is recommended by plastic surgeons and dermatologist. Concentrated serum will encourage faster regrowth of new rejuvenated layers of skin.
